The new Store was tested with Windows Insiders and Xbox Insiders and now, Microsoft is ready to roll out the updated version of Windows Store to the public.

You’ll be able to buy hardware & more products from the Microsoft Store

Before the rebranding, users were only able to download apps, books, games, TV shows and movies from the Windows Store. But after the update, you will be able to purchase hardware and more including Microsoft’s Surface hardware, Windows Phone devices, Xbox One consoles, Windows 10 laptops, tablets and third-party devices and accessories. The newly revamped Windows Store comes with an updated Cortana Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Ring are now receiving the new update alongside an upgraded Cortana in Windows 10. Cortana used to refer to the Windows Store apps as the Trusted Windows Store apps and, obviously, following the rebranding, the AI now refers to them as the Trusted Microsoft Store apps. The new Microsoft Store is not available yet to all the regular users who have systems running the Windows 10 Creators Update. But, on the other hand, most users will still have the Windows Store instead of the rebranded version despite Cortana referring to it as the Microsoft Store. All this will change after you update your system to the Fall Creators Update that started its rollout on October 17. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
