While the change is sure to annoy some users, it should be pointed out that this only applies to users who are running Insider builds. It is not currently required for any other version of Windows 11, and it likely won’t be added until a final build of Windows 11 is released. So, what does this all mean? Well, if you’re using a PC or device that’s not connected to the Internet and you’re running this build, you simply can’t access it.

You must have Internet

Windows 11 Pro is designed for small and medium businesses, providing enhanced functionality over Windows 11 Home. It enables users to connect to domains, and access network files, printers, and applications. Windows 11 Pro also adds built-in device encryption, and the ability to join a device management service. Users on various forums appear to be angered by this move given that not everyone comes from an area where Internet connectivity is readily available. There is some hope though as the update has not been made for public availability so it may never see the light of day. Aside from theWindows 11 Pro menace, there are other updates worth checking such as the add folders in the pinned app section. You can also customize your gaming with the newly introduced Xbox HDR app so it’s not all sad news with the latest Preview Build.
