Chrome is a vast browsing platform. Its parent website, Google, regularly introduces new changes to Chrome to keep it up to date and intuitive. According to the latest news from the tech world reports the implementation of dark mode on Google Chrome. According to the reports, Chrome newest version 74 will offer system-wide dark mode on both Windows and macOS. This new version 74 is expected to hit the screens in April 2019. At the moment, it is in the Canary release stage, but it already supports dark mode on both Windows and macOS. The dark mode can be enabled on both Windows and macOS by changing the theme settings to dark. Changing the theme setting to dark enables the system-wide dark theme. However, some computers could not activate the dark mode in the Canary release. Canary is the early test version of Chrome. The dark mode changes the colour of the screen and text. It turns the screen dark and the text white. Similarly, the dark mode on the Chrome changes the colour of its downloads page, search bar and settings. Moreover, it contains less blue light and enhances the readability of the text.
